Over 77,000 different chemicals are produced in North America today. They are in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. According to the Centers for Disease Control, our average ‘body burden’—the poisonous chemical cocktail that we all now carry inside our bodies—includes over 100 environmental toxins.
