Lyme Disease

Lyme Disease

It may be more than Lyme Disease. Parasites and bacteria can enter the blood stream through a tick bite. Once Lyme Disease is either ruled out or treated, these symptoms of parasitic or bacterial infection may continue:

  • fever and fatigue
  • decreased appetite
  • swollen glands
  • cognitive dysfunction (not thinking clearly)
  • central nervous system issues
  • joint pain

More and more evidence shows that parasites and bacteria from tick bites, once in the blood stream, can cause troublesome and often serious symptoms.

These parasites and bacterial co-infections are long lasting until treated and may include:

  • Babesia
  • Ehrlicia
  • Bartonella
  • Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
  • Mycoplasma
